Although the Magyar Agár is a very rare breed, there is always a possibility for a dog to end up in need of rescue. All NAMAA member breeders are required by the NAMAA Code of Ethics to take back any adults or puppies they have bred in the event that the owner cannot keep the adult dog or puppy for ANY REASON. Member breeders found to be in violation of the Code of Ethics will be expelled.
Due to limited resources, the NAMAA Rescue Program can only take in dogs within North America.
Anyone knowing of a Magyar Agár in need of rescue, please contact Audrey Hsia.
